Quattro + and X-Stream answer different design questions
Quattro + uses a four-channel blade. X-Stream uses a multi-material construction with a pivoting-blade design. Those differences are documented; a universal winner for every diver is not. Compare the fit of both with the same boots, then consider pack size and your opportunity to try them under supervision.
A family name is not a specification
Quattro +, Quattro 4X and Quattro Power are separate products. Some older listings also show different strap arrangements from current manufacturer pages. Record the exact name and check the supplied heel strap before buying replacements or comparing an old review with a new retail package. A catalogue listing does not establish local availability.
Compare the full ownership cost
Ask for the price of the pair in your size, any boots you need, and a compatible replacement strap. A discount on a size that fits badly is not a saving.
