How we calculate scores →About this gear
The men’s TherMaxx Back Zip Shorty is identified by Henderson’s T630MB model code. Its Fire Fleece lining, stretch outer fabric and YKK #10 rear zipper are the main construction details on the current manufacturer page. Short sleeves and legs favour low-bulk coverage for warm-water use.
Consider before buying
The page describes double-glued and stitched seams and resistance to snagging, but does not establish a measured insulation advantage. Confirm thickness and the supplied size with the dealer: the current product text does not clearly state thickness, even though retailers label T630MB as 3 mm. The website’s zero-dollar display is not treated as a real selling price.
Our take
Choose this shorty if the fleece feel and rear entry suit you, after confirming the actual stock specification. O’Three’s Shortie provides a clearly documented 2.5 mm comparison with flatlock seams. Full-length TherMaxx reviews and the front-zip model do not establish a score for this back-zip shorty.
