Consider before buying
It is an alarm interface, not a standalone AIS radio receiver or distress transmitter. The vessel needs a compatible feed, wiring and power; its relay functions also require careful system integration.

Useful when alerts on a plotter are easy to miss from another part of the boat. Confirm which target messages the installed receiver passes through and how the crew will respond. A panel alarm supports the recovery setup but cannot replace a beacon or receiving system.
