How we calculate scores →About this gear
The D560-GL is a green laser pointer for underwater indication. It emits a 5 mW, 520 nm beam and uses a single AA or rechargeable 14500 cell. A rotating head controls activation, and OrcaTorch rates the aluminium body to 150 m.
Consider before buying
This is not a white-light torch and cannot illuminate a scene or replace a backup light. Its usefulness depends on a clear, agreed pointing task. Keep the beam away from eyes and wildlife. The manufacturer’s maximum five-hour runtime should not be assumed identical with both battery types.
Our take
Choose D560-GL only when you need a dedicated pointer. Kraken’s NR-1800L combines white illumination with a separately controlled laser, while NR-1800 supplies ordinary white light without the pointer. Retail customer comments were found, but no verified independent editorial overall score; customer stars are not used for the site’s grade.
