How we calculate scores →About this gear
The B50 Low Cut is a 3 mm neoprene boot with a short upper and glued-and-blind-stitched construction. Its simple slip-on shape is intended for divers who prefer less ankle coverage than a taller boot.
Consider before buying
Do not confuse it with the separate B50 5 mm ankle boot. The low opening changes the overlap with a suit leg and the position of a fin strap. No measured sole traction or puncture-resistance result was verified.
Our take
Choose the Low Cut when it fits your fins comfortably and you do not need a tall upper. TUSA’s fin socks are a lighter alternative for an appropriate full-foot pocket, but they do not replace this boot’s sole. Seaskin’s rockboot instead belongs over a drysuit sock, so it serves a different footwear setup.
