Body X is Waterproof’s 285 g/m² hollow-fibre fleece undergarment, available as a separate top and leggings. The two-piece format lets a diver choose upper- and lower-body sizes independently. Its extended top and drawstring waist help maintain overlap beneath the outer suit.
Consider before buying
Do not confuse it with the heavier 665 g/m² Body 2X or the Body 2X one-piece also described on the official page. In ScubaLab’s 2020 test, Body X earned a Best Buy award and favourable warmth and dressing comments. Those category results are useful evidence but do not provide an overall numeric score.
Our take
Body X is worth considering for a modular layering system, especially if a one-piece undergarment fits poorly. Compare MESHTEC for a different spacer-mesh construction. Final warmth depends on the full suit system and conditions; the award does not establish a universal temperature limit or make the lighter Body X equivalent to Body 2X.
