How we calculate scores →About this gear
The SD Neoflex is a 7 mm semidry with a shoulder dry zipper, thermal lining and double seals at the wrists and ankles. Its two zipped thigh pockets have internal attachment loops. Reinforced knees, elbows and seat areas, plus instrument-retaining details on the arms, give it a more equipped layout than a basic back-zip wetsuit.
Consider before buying
A dry zipper does not make this a drysuit. Check shoulder reach with the zipper closed and verify that the cuff seals lie comfortably against your skin. ScubaLab’s test sample ran larger than expected, making an in-person fitting particularly useful. Its Testers Choice award is editorial recognition, not a numeric overall score.
Our take
Consider the SD Neoflex when you want a semidry with useful storage and separate-hood flexibility. ScubaLab praised its warmth and comfort while noting the sample-fit issue. Compare the hooded Cressi Logica if an integrated hood and internal bib suit you better. Neither design removes the need to choose exposure protection for your own conditions and dive duration.
