PRODUCT OVERVIEW

About this gear

The SeaLife AquaPod Mini SL912 extends from 39 to 97 cm and mounts a camera through a standard quarter-inch tripod fitting. An action-camera adapter and wrist lanyard are included, with anodized-aluminium construction and stainless hardware.

Consider before buying

The camera pictured is not included. The pole changes your framing distance but does not operate the shutter remotely. SeaLife describes using a compatible camera’s interval mode for stills or starting video before extending the pole. Keep the extended camera clear of wildlife and the surroundings.

Our take

Choose the Mini when its short collapsed size matters more than the longer reach of the original AquaPod. Check the camera or housing mount before ordering. It adds reach, not image stabilization, and the owner-review aggregate found online is not an independent overall score.
