How we calculate scores →About this gear
The Selene on this page is the VIEW V-820A swimming goggle. Its construction combines a firmer frame around the lenses with a soft face pad, aimed at a comfortable seal for recreational and fitness swimming. The broad lens arrangement favours visibility over an especially compact racing profile.
Consider before buying
The name also appears on older TUSA diving equipment, so reviews of a Selene BCD do not apply. Likewise, newer Selene SWIPE versions must not be assumed to share this listing’s lens treatment. Comfort claims are dependent on the wearer’s face; no eligible independent overall score was found.
Our take
Choose it only after checking the bridge and seal fit. Solace is worth comparing if interchangeable nosepieces are important, and X-Treme offers a broader swim-mask format. Selene belongs in a swimming kit rather than a scuba-mask shortlist.

Questions to settle before buying
Based on the equipment type in the researched profile.
- Does the bridge and seal fit comfortably for swimming?
- Which lens treatment and replacement parts apply to this exact model?
- Is this the swimming model you intended, rather than similarly named scuba equipment?
