How we calculate scores →About this gear
The VIEW X-Treme V-1000A uses a broad swim-mask format rather than two small racing eyecups. A silicone skirt and strap, quick-adjust buckles and a low-profile frame target recreational swimming and surface watersports. The official listing includes a soft carrying case.
Consider before buying
The advertised 180-degree view is a manufacturer claim, not a measurement we verified. Despite the word mask, the product is sold as swimming equipment and should not be confused with a nose-enclosing scuba mask. No eligible independent overall rating was established.
Our take
Consider X-Treme if small goggles feel too concentrated around your eye sockets and the larger seal fits you better. Compare Selene for a more conventional recreational goggle. The broad format is a fit choice, not evidence of superior underwater performance or suitability for scuba diving.

Questions to settle before buying
Based on the equipment type in the researched profile.
- Does the bridge and seal fit comfortably for swimming?
- Which lens treatment and replacement parts apply to this exact model?
- Is this the swimming model you intended, rather than similarly named scuba equipment?
