How we calculate scores →About this gear
ACR’s Wi-Fi Remote Control Module is an accessory for compatible searchlight control systems. It connects mobile-app control with the installed light and can accept NMEA 0183 GPS data.
Consider before buying
The original design also allowed a mobile device’s GPS position to be used. Current app availability and compatibility with today’s phone software and your exact searchlight controller need confirmation; the module is not a universal wireless upgrade.
Our take
Do not buy this solely because your boat has an ACR light. Ask the installer to confirm the module, controller and app combination first. A supported wired or dedicated wireless control kit may be the better route when updating an older installation.
